Reuben's constant sickness wasn't getting any better so we were prescrribed infant Gaviscon and also infacol for colic. It was thought he just had reflux at this point. The gaviscon made no difference to his vomiting and we had to weigh him weekly. His weight gain was slow but steady. He went through about 20 bibs an hour and several changes of clothes per day, our poor washing machine!
